Fstop's blog post - Power lines ?

Once as a young sprat, power lines were TABOO in a picture ...... sometimes they do actually look good?

so do you cut and shut them, or do you get freakin fussy? and chop them?

a rough cut and shut, of what may have been a nice pix, if not for all the extraneous stuff? or still could be with an hour or 2 finely cutting and shutting, instead of a 10 minute rough cut.

any thoughts?

cant really tell as the pics are very small but in those examples yes I would probably chop em out but in the one I posted I would leave it in. I dont do alot of editing...mainly just cropping and resizing but one day I will get around to teaching myself or learning LR and maybe PS

I think it just depends on the picture, some i do others, i leave,, to be honest cloning things out is something i am just learning to do.

I've spent time airbrushing them out, but I mostly try to avoid them. Unless, of course, they belong in the photo! :P
